Live signal stream
Score, run rate, dew window, and pace-vs-spin share refresh every thirty seconds during play. Manual refresh available if a network blip stalls the stream.
Contest floor
Practice contests, head-to-head, mega, and winner-takes-all. Each contest surfaces its rules and prize break-up before entry.
In-app wallet
UPI deposit, balance tracker, withdrawal request. Withdrawal returns to the original method within twenty-four hours on most banks.
KYC + account
PAN, Aadhaar, and bank linking handled inside the app. Re-verification triggers after ninety days of inactivity.
Responsible play controls
Deposit caps (daily, weekly, monthly), self-exclusion, and account closure are reachable from Settings in under three taps.

What the app asks for, and why.
Permissions the app requests
Internet (live signals), notifications (captain alerts), storage (cache and offline fixtures), and biometric (fingerprint sign-in). Location is opt-in for venue-specific signals; the app does not request it by default.
What the app does not collect
No contact list scraping, no SMS reading, no background microphone access. The privacy policy enumerates every permission and its purpose.

Is the Wecap app free to install?
Yes. The app is free to install and the practice contests are free to enter. Paid contests require a deposit through approved payment partners.
What's the current Android version?
Check /apk-download/ for the latest version and the SHA-256 of the package. The version number is visible inside the app under Settings → About.
Does the app work on iPad?
Yes. iPad form factor is supported in the current build. The iPhone build runs at 2x on iPad with the same feature set.
Can I install the APK on a rooted device?
The app refuses to start on rooted devices because payment KYC requires the trusted execution environment. Use the Play Store build on rooted devices; many features remain gated.
Why does the app ask for biometric permission?
Fingerprint or face unlock replaces the password entry on supported devices. The biometric template never leaves the device's secure enclave.
How do I uninstall cleanly?
Long-press the app icon and choose Uninstall. Account data is purged server-side after the thirty-day reactivation window expires.
